In June, Friends of Acadia and Acadia National Park celebrated National Trails Day with an open house at the park trails workshop, a choice of hikes or volunteer activities on Mount Desert Island and Schoodic, and – new this year – a work project co-hosted by the Town of Tremont on the Al Butler Memorial Trail.
