About Sally.
After graduating from Wellesley College, she moved to England where she earned an MPhil in Russian Poetry, later qualifying as a solicitor of England and Wales. Sally trained at the London and Moscow offices of Denton Hall (now Dentons), later moving to the London office of Mayer, Brown & Platt, specializing in the financing of large, cross-border infrastructure and energy projects. Sally eventually returned to Maine to practice law with her father, Barry Mills, at Hale & Hamlin, Maine's oldest law firm. She currently has a general practice, with a focus on estate planning; probate; probate litigation; guardianships and conservatorships; real estate; family; and administrative/environmental law, including aquaculture and other land-use conflict. When not working as an attorney, Sally spends time with her sons Chris and Robbie, both graduates of Sally's alma mater, George Stevens Academy. Sally also enjoys acting in plays with New Surry Theater and The Bagaduce Theater.
